Theodore Roosevelt

Theodore Roosevelt, born on October 27, 1858 in New York City, was a multifaceted individual, known for his work as a historian, writer, politician, statesman, explorer, and ornithologist. Roosevelt held citizenship in the United States and was educated at various institutions, including Harvard College, Columbia University, Columbia Law School, and Friends Seminary.

Roosevelt was the father of six children: Theodore Roosevelt Jr., Alice Roosevelt Longworth, Kermit Roosevelt, Quentin Roosevelt, Archibald Roosevelt, and Ethel Roosevelt Derby. His parents were Theodore Roosevelt Sr. and Martha Bulloch Roosevelt. Theodore Roosevelt was often referred to by his nickname "Teddy" and his birth name was Theodore Roosevelt Jr..

Roosevelt played significant roles in the founding of the United States Bureau of Reclamation and the United States Forest Service. Among his many accomplishments, he received the 1906 Nobel Peace Prize and authored "The Naval War of 1812". He is most well-known for serving as the 26th president of the United States.
