Sushmita Sen is an Indian actor, model, and businessperson born on November 19, 1975, in Hyderabad. She holds Indian nationality and is best known for winning the Miss Universe 1994 title, the first-ever Indian to achieve this feat.
She is a graduate from Mithibai College, Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute, and St. Ann's High School, Secunderabad. Throughout her career, Sen professionally pursued various fields and gained recognition for her work in India.
Sushmita Sen has received multiple awards, such as Filmfare Awards, Star Screen Awards, IIFA Awards, and Zee Cine Award. She has also been acknowledged with the Mother Teresa Awards, Indian Affairs India Leadership Conclave awards, GeoSpa AsiaSpa India Awards, I Am Woman Awards, and Filmfare OTT Awards. In 2021, she was bestowed with the Champions of Change Award.
Before entering the film industry, she won Miss Universe 1994 and Femina Miss India.
