Stephen Kennedy

Mr. Steve Kennedy brings more than 30 years of experience in the fields of manufacturing and development of biopharmaceutical innovations and emerging technologies. Most recently, Steve served as Senior Vice President and Head of Technical Operations for Casebia Therapeutics, a joint venture formed between CRISPR Therapeutics and Bayer. Prior to his time at Casebia, Steve served as Chief Operating Officer for Histogenics Corporation, a restorative cell therapy company. Before that, he held a series of positions of increasing responsibility at Genzyme, including Senior Vice President of Biologics Operations. He also served as Executive Director of the Novartis/MIT Center for Continuous Manufacturing in MIT’s Department of Biology. Steve holds an M.B.A. from the Boston University Executive Program, an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
