Stephanie Rice, officially known as Stephanie Louise Rice, was born on June 17, 1988, in Brisbane, Australia. She attended Clayfield College for her education. Rice is a former competitive swimmer and athlete, known for her achievements in swimming. Rice, who is also known by the nickname "Steph", holds Australian nationality.
Her father is Warren Rice, and her mother is Raelene Clark. Stephanie Rice has received several awards throughout her career, including the Medal of the Order of Australia in 2009. In 2008, she was recognized as the Telstra Australian Swimmer of the Year and Swimming World Magazine's Female World Swimmer of the Year, as well as Pacific Rim Swimmer of the Year.
Additionally, Rice was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame and the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 2019. She currently resides in Australia.
