Stanford Moore (born September 4, 1913 in Chicago and died August 23, 1982 in New York City) was a renowned biochemist and chemist from the United States. Moore completed his education at the University School of Nashville, Vanderbilt University, and the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

His doctoral advisor was Karl Paul Link. In recognition of his contributions to the field, Moore was awarded the prestigious 1972 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
