SpaceFarers is a book that was written in an attempt describe an answer for the challenge and purpose that people have for going to space. The book was written by Christopher Wanjek.
The book is set over fifty years after the Apollo 11 moon landing. Wanjek believes that humans will eventually return to the moon as well as go to Mars. He believes that private industry has take a role to fowarding space activity, and that eventually it will lead to sustainable ventures, extensions of earthbound sciences, business, and leisure.
Colonising Mars is one of the main trials in the book, as the author demonstrates living in extreme conditions such as winter-like conditions from Antartica, low amounts of gravity, no breathable air, and radiation dosages.
