Smokey Robinson

Smokey Robinson, born as William Robinson on February 19, 1940, is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and record producer from Detroit. He is a citizen of the United States and was educated at Northern High School in Detroit, Michigan. Robinson is known for his work in the music industry, specifically in the genres of soul music and rhythm and blues.

As a singer and songwriter, Smokey Robinson goes by the nickname "Smokey" and uses the pseudonym Smokey Robinson as well. Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards, including the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
