Skip Spence

Skip Spence (birth name Alexander Lee Spence) was a Canadian-American musician born in Windsor, Ontario on April 18, 1946. He held dual citizenship in the United States and Canada. Spence was a guitarist, composer, singer, musician, and singer-songwriter. He was educated at Andrew Hill High School in California.

Throughout his career, Spence was known for his work in rock music, psychedelic rock, and psychedelic folk genres. He passed away in Santa Cruz, California on April 16, 1999. Spence was also known by the aliases "Skip" and "Skippy".
