Sichuan University

Sichuan University is a public educational institute located in Chengdu, China. Established in 1896 as an organization, it is accredited by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. The university operates in the fields of education, higher education, and as a university.

Also known by its Chinese name, 四川大学 , Sichuan University's motto is "Sea encompasses hundreds of rivers, willingness to accept all is virtuous". The institution has been granted 77 patents throughout its history.
