Sergey Kiriyenko was born on July 26, 1962, in Sukhumi. He holds citizenship in both the Soviet Union and Russia. Known for his work as a politician, statesman, and businessperson, Kiriyenko has held various roles in his career. He was educated at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration and the Volga State University of Water Transport.
Kiriyenko is recognized as the founder of the Union of Right Forces and served as the CEO of Rosatom. Over the years, he has received multiple awards, including the Hero of the Russian Federation, Order of Merit for the Fatherland (4th class), Order of Honor, Honorary Diploma of the President of the Russian Federation, Order of the Holy Blessed Prince Daniel of Moscow (1st class), Order of St. Sergius of Radonezh, and Order of Alexander Nevsky.
