Samuel Alfred Mitchell

Samuel Alfred Mitchell was a Canadian-American astronomer born on April 29, 1874, in Kingston, Ontario. He held citizenship in both Canada and the United States. Mitchell's career in astronomy led him to make numerous contributions to the field until his death on February 22, 1960, in Bloomington, Indiana.
