STRIKEWERX

STRIKEWERX is an innovation hub for the Air Force Global Strike Command. They offer solutions to solve challenges through non-traditional pathways, including solutions from industry, academia, and Airmen intrapreneurs. They offer events, workshops, meetups to provide an opportunity for industry and government to engage with and deliver processes for solving solutions. And through their program, they offer participants access to experts, acquisition coaching, and engineering and technical support.

Partners of STRIKEWERX include the Griffis Institute, the Air Force Global Strike Command, AFWERX, the Wright Brothers Institute, The Academic Partnership Engagement Experiment, and the Technology Transfer and Transition program of the United States Air Force.

Their projects have included an Emergency Aircrew Response Challenge which looks for a concept to move personnel from locations on an installation to and from the aircraft into various locations with little or no warning. And a Design Sprint to find a cover for the Transport Erector Jack Stand used by ICBM maintenance crews.
