Gameplay
Star Stable Online is for those who love horses and adventure.
At the beginning of the game, the player creates a character and this horse, after which the player can complete the first missions. By completing missions, the character in the game receives points that help to level up the character.
As you level up, new, more difficult missions are unlocked that continue the story of the game. From these, the character also receives reputation points and Jorvik shillings (one of the game's currencies), where you can buy food and equipment for the horse and clothing for the character. Open missions are shown as yellow exclamation points above NPCs. For these missions, the character receives points that increase his level, reputation points and Jorvik shillings. Sometimes food, goods, clothes and equipment can also be rewarded for completing tasks. Daily missions are displayed as blue exclamation points. Of these, the character receives only reputation points and Jorvik shillings. Once the player has started the mission, the exclamation mark will turn gray, and when completed, it will turn green. If the NPC has an image of a clock, it means that the mission will continue the next day. If, on the other hand, there is an image of a heart above the NPC, it means that the character's reputation level in the game is too low. The task opens at a sufficiently high level of reputation. In general, the level of reputation in each community is different, for example, families and cities have their own level of reputation.

There are two types of missions:
- The main missions in which the player has to save Jorvik, the world of Star Stable Online, with the help of Soul Riders, who, according to the game, are talented riders, endowed with abilities and magical horses.
- Side missions where the player helps various residents of Jorvik.
The player can train a horse in a quarry, from which the horse receives level points, Jorvik shillings, and reputation points. The more a horse trains, the faster and more agile it becomes. You can only ride the tracks once a day to earn points and money. Near the quarry, there are paths on both sides where you can browse the tracks on your own or with friends. You can also beat your own records or the records of other participants in the competition and get into the list of the 20 fastest players.
The game is free to play up to level 5. Then you can subscribe (for one month, three months or for life).
Game currency
There are two currencies in the game: Jorvik shillings, Star Coins.
- Jorvik Shillings (SJ for short) is a currency that everyone has access to. It can be earned by completing missions, racing, or selling equipment and clothing in the store. Jorvik shillings are used to purchase clothing, equipment, and food for the character and horse. They are also used to pay for the van, which allows Star Riders to move around Jorvik Island faster.
- Star Coins (abbreviated as SC) is the currency that some Star Riders subscribers earn every week at the rate of 100 Star Coins every Saturday and can be purchased on the game's website. They are needed to buy a horse and certain clothes. And equipment. They can also pay the groom, pay for the services of a van, a trainer and a manager of equestrian clubs. Thanks to this currency, we can also change the location and expand the main stable. In addition, some equipment and clothing cannot be purchased with Jorvik Shillings. Star Coins can also be used for overnight stays that will open the clock until the next day.
