Ron Rivest

Ron Rivest is a mathematician and computer scientist , born on May 6, 1947. He is the founder of RSA Security and has been a doctoral advisor to several students, including Stephen Weis , Burt Kaliski , Avrim Blum , Robert Schapire , Andrew Sutherland , Alan Sherman , Ron Pinter , Errol Lloyd , and Alan Baratz . Ron was himself a doctoral student under Robert W. Floyd .

Rivest received his education from Niskayuna High School , Yale University , and Stanford University .
