Roland Topor (born 7 January 1938 in Paris, France) was a French actor, screenwriter, writer, novelist, and playwright. He was also known for his work as an author, theatre director, scenographer, comics artist, and film director. Topor studied at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He was a French citizen. Roland Topor passed away in Paris on 16 April 1997.
