Riverside ExCITE is a startup incubator for technology and science startups, providing co-working spaces, networking, workshops, and mentorships. The program is located in Downtown Riverside, California, and brings together resources from the city, the county, and the University of California, Riverside. Riverside ExCITE is a six- to twelve- month program and facility for the startups that have been selected to be involved in the program. Participants in the program are chosen every six months.
While the program offers facilities and supports for technology startups—including mentorship, liquidity opportunities, and lab space with specialized equipment in co-working spaces which can provide networking opportunities—one of the key resources of the program is what it calls the "Startup Toolbox". This toolbox consists of bundled up services and pre-negotiated packages of local law firms and banks, HR benefits, accounting services, and CRO referrals.
