Richard Whately

Richard Whately (1787-1863) was a British economist, philosopher, and priest. He was born in London on February 1, 1787. Whately pursued his education at Oriel College, Oxford, and held an array of successful occupations throughout his life.

Whately was a citizen of both the United Kingdom of Great Britain and the Kingdom of Great Britain. In his career, he contributed to various fields, including economics, philosophy, and religion as an economist, priest, and philosopher. His life and work came to an end when he passed away in Dublin on October 8, 1863.
