Retief Goosen

Retief Goosen (born 3 February 1969 in Polokwane, South Africa) is a professional golfer from South Africa. Goosen is known for winning the PGA TOUR Champions in his rookie season, along with 12 top-10s. He became the seventh player to win the Tour's best scoring average (69.14) and finished third in the final Charles Schwab Cup standings and on the money list ($1,859,085). His awards include the Spoornet Classic, Bushveld Classic, Iscor Newcastle Classic, Peugeot Open de Espana, Mount Edgecombe Trophy, Lancome Trophy, among others.

Goosen has had multiple victories in various tournaments worldwide, such as the U.S. Senior Open Championship, American Family Insurance Championship, and the Charles Schwab Cup Championship. He has also represented South Africa in international events, showcasing the skills and talent coming from his home country.
