Plant Factory Technologies

Plant Factory Technologies is an AgriFoodTech company focused on growing microgreens and berries in advanced ways (vertical farming, smart greenhouses). Founded by enthusiastic entrepreneurs from different fields, we carry out a full cycle of superfood production, from building smart farms, supplying equipment and growing high-value plants usingadvanced methods, to harvesting and packing. Starting in the 2nd half of 2021, we are setting up R&D for processing into functional beverages.

Among the company's own technological advances are a high-pressure aeroponics solution that saves over 95% of water providing plants with a balanced amount of nutrition, adaptive controlled lighting saving electricity and giving plants an optimum spectrum, systems of infrastructure management (automatization) and digital control. It makes production not just high-yielding, but also environmentally friendly. In addition, production is waste-free.

The company is actively expanding its R&D department collaborating with one of the key specialized units in its region - the St. Petersburg Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. As part of this cooperation, we are jointly developing prototypes of automation and robotization tools for production processes and constantly conducting scientific research to develop the quality and quantity of grown products.

Our goal is to create sustainable and independent vertically integrated industries in different regions. From equipment, IT solutions and seeds to ready-made greens and processed superfoods\functional beverages (salad mixes, immune shots, smoothies, detox drinks) as well as eco-cosmetics.

For 2021, the company's profits are generated in two areas: 1) consulting \ building turnkey farms and equipment supply; 2) sales of end products from joint/in-house production facilities. The company has its own production facility in Russia. In winter 2021-2022 a small production facility (showroom) is planned to be launched in Finland, where a new legal entity has recently been opened for boosting the company growth.
