Pierre Varignon

Pierre Varignon was a French mathematician, physicist, and professor born in Caen in 1654. He received his education at the University of Caen Normandy and held citizenship in France. Varignon's doctoral advisor was Nicolas Malebranche, and one of his notable doctoral students was Jacques Cassini.

Throughout his career, Pierre Varignon held various occupations, including that of a mathematician, physicist, and professor. He passed away on December 23, 1722, in Paris.
