Overview
Pierre Janssen (born February 22, 1824) was a French astronomer who dedicated his life to his occupation. He was born in Paris and held French citizenship. Janssen's studies and discoveries in astronomy continued until his death in Meudon on December 23, 1907. As a prominent figure in the field, Pierre Janssen contributed greatly to our understanding of the stars and beyond.
