Phil Zimmermann

Phil Zimmermann, born on 12 February 1954 in Camden, New Jersey, is a mathematician, programmer, human rights activist, computer scientist, and professor. He is a United States citizen and was educated at Florida Atlantic University.

Zimmermann is the founder of Silent Circle (software), and is also known under the alias Philip R. Zimmermann. His nationality is that of the United States, and he is currently located in the country.
