Peter Scott

Peter Scott, born on September 14, 1909, in London, was a British illustrator and television presenter. He was educated at West Downs School and later attended Trinity College, Cambridge. Scott held citizenship in the United Kingdom and was also known as Sir Peter Markham Scott.

Peter was the son of Robert Falcon Scott and Kathleen Scott and was named after Clements Markham. He had a child named Nicola Scott.

Peter Scott was the founder of the World Wildlife Fund and the World Wide Fund for Nature. He passed away on August 29, 1989, in Bristol.
