Patricia Highsmith

Patricia Highsmith, born as Mary Patricia Plangman, was a writer, novelist, and screenwriter from the United States. She was born on January 19, 1921, in Fort Worth, Texas and educated at Barnard College. Highsmith sometimes used the pseudonym Claire Morgan. She passed away on February 4, 1995, in Locarno.

Highsmith was known for a variety of notable works, such as "Strangers on a Train", "The Price of Salt", "The Talented Mr. Ripley" and "This Sweet Sickness" among many others. Her work encompassed both novels and screenplays, showcasing her talent in multiple literary formats.
