PM & Partners is a private equity firm based in Milan and Rome. They invest in mid-sized Italian companies where they can acquire majorities or qualified minorities in buy-out/buy-in and growth capital transactions. Their preferred investments are in the mechanical engineering, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, consumer goods, food, packaging and services sectors.
For their portfolio companies, PM & Partners provides support in identifying and selecting managers; support for strategic decisions, consolidation, growth, valuations and negotiations of structured financing; supporting management teams to source and analyze add-on opportunities; and help with the implementation of decision making systems and adoption of relevant performance indicators.
PM & Partners have made investments in OMT, Plastiape, Monviso, La Patria, Relevi, Emmeti, Forexchange, Elemaster Group, Vimec, Gruppo Argenta, Alfatherm, AEB, AIVE, IDRA, ECO and Gruppo La Patria.
PM & Partners have exited their investments in Gruppo La Patria, OMT, Plastiape, Monviso, La Patria, Emmeti, Forexchange, Elemaster Group, Vimec, Gruppo Argenta, Alfatherm, AEB, AIVE, IDRA and ECO.
PM & Partners has invested out of two funds. Their PM & Partners I and PM & Partners II. The latter fund held its first close in October 2007 at €260 million. They held their second close for PM & Partners II in January 2009 at €340 million.
In July 2015, after offering existing investors to sell their stakes in PM & Partners II in the fourth quarter of 2014, PM & Partners announced they were fund raising for their third fund. Their target for the fund was €300 million.
