Oui Capital is a $10 million venture-capital fund focused on early-stage technology startups in Africa. The company name has the French word Oui (pronounced we), for yes and operates with the slogan “saying yes, one entrepreneur at a time.” The fund has the goal of bridging the financial gap between high-growth startups and available capital. Oui Capital is focused on pre-series A financing for startups working int Fintech, Mobility, Innovative healthcare, Education and Two-sided marketplaces. The company plans to provide mentorship along with early financing under The Mentor’s Fund initiative. A pool of mentors that are subject matter experts double as advisors available to portfolio companies at no additional cost.
Managing Partner, Olu Oyinsan was formerly VP of Investments at Ingressive Capital. Francesco Andreoli is his founding venture partner at Oui Capital. Andreoli is a Swiss serial entrepreneur and Techstars mentor.
