Nikolai Myaskovsky (8 April 1881 – 8 August 1950) was a composer educated at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory. He was born in Modlin Fortress and held citizenship in the Russian Empire as well as the Soviet Union. Myaskovsky passed away in Moscow.
