Niklaus Wirth is a Swiss computer scientist, engineer, and programmer, born on February 15, 1934, in Winterthur. He is a citizen of Switzerland and has made significant contributions to computer science. Wirth has received several accolades for his work, including the 1984 Turing Award.
Wirth obtained his education from the renowned institutions ETH Zurich, Laval University, and the University of California, Berkeley.
