Newt Gingrich, whose birth name is Newton Leroy Gingrich, was born on June 17, 1943, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Holding citizenship from the United States, Gingrich is known for his diverse professional pursuits which include being a politician, novelist, writer, teacher, and historian.

Gingrich obtained his education from various institutions. He attended Baker High School in Columbus, Georgia, before attending Emory University. Additionally, Gingrich studied at Tulane University and Tulane University School of Liberal Arts.
