Morry Markowitz serves as President of the Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy Association. Markowitz has wide-ranging expertise in the energy and automotive fields, as well as over twenty years of senior-level association management experience.
Markowitz currently serves on the U.S. Department of Energy Hydrogen Technical Advisory Committee (HTAC), as well as a member of the U.S. Department of Commerce Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee.
Prior to coming to the FCHEA, Mr. Markowitz was the Group Director of External Affairs at the Edison Electric Institute (EEI). Before his work at EEI, he served as Vice President of Public Affairs with the Association of International Automobile Manufacturers. Markowitz has worked on Capitol Hill, as well as the Executive Branch of government. He is a graduate of the George Washington University and has a law degree from George Mason University School of Law.
