Mitch Miller

Mitch Miller (1911-2010) was an American musician, composer, record producer, film producer, and bandleader born in Rochester, New York. He held United States citizenship. Miller received his education at the Eastman School of Music and East High School in Rochester, New York. In his career, he worked in various occupations such as record producer, musician, composer, film producer, and bandleader. He focused on the genre of traditional pop music. Mitch Miller passed away in New York City on July 31, 2010. In recognition of his accomplishments, Miller received the prestigious Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
