Mikhail Fedorovich Orlov (March 25 [April 5], 1788 - March 19 , 1842) - Major General, participant in the Napoleonic Wars, who drew up the conditions for the surrender of Paris to the allied army. In the 1820s gained fame as a public figure of a liberal direction, a Decembrist, a frequent interlocutor of A. S. Pushkin. The younger brother of Prince A. F. Orlov.
