McG, born on August 9, 1968, in Burbank, California, is a multifaceted individual working in various fields of entertainment. He is a film director, photographer, film producer, screenwriter, record producer, and composer. McG holds American citizenship and attended Corona del Mar High School before pursuing higher education at the University of California, Irvine.

McG founded Wonderland Sound and Vision, a production company, and has worked on multiple significant film projects as a director. Some of his notable films include "This Means War", "Charlie's Angels" (2000 film), "Terminator Salvation", "We Are Marshall", and "3 Days to Kill". He was also a member of the board of directors for "Charlie's Angels".

In addition to his work in film, McG has broadened his scope as an executive producer and television producer. He is also the creator of the film "I Feel Pretty".
