Mayo Association Dublin (MAD) is an organisation, established in 1905, with the primary purpose of supporting County Mayo's diaspora in Dublin. In addition to hosting fundraising events, the association hosts a 'Mentorship Breakfast Morning' and promotes the 'Mayo Schools’ Debating Competition'.
The association was established in 1905, and originally named the Mayo Men's Association. The primary purpose for its establishment was to "help migrants from the county to establish their presence and identity in Dublin". In 2005, the association celebrated its centenary.
In 2017 the Mayo Association Dublin launched an annual debating competition for senior cycle students in the county. Mary Robinson is patron of the event, with sponsorship provided by mayo.ie and Bank of Ireland. The inaugural competition's final was held in the University Philosophical Society debating camber of Trinity College Dublin.
The association hosted its first 'Mentorship Breakfast Morning' on Friday, 1 March 2019. Its claimed purpose is to provide a platform on which Mayo students studying in Dublin or those who have begun a new career in Dublin can connect with business people originally from Mayo, who work in Dublin.
