Max Linder

Max Linder (born Gabriel Maximilian Leviel) was a French actor, film director, screenwriter, film producer, and comedian . Born in Saint-Loubès, France on December 16, 1883, Max Linder first began his career in film in 1899. He directed several films such as 'The Skater's Debut' , 'Max Takes a Bath' , and 'The Romance of Max' . Linder's last film was released in 1925. He passed away in Paris on October 31, 1925.

Linder was married to Ninette Peters and had a child named Maud Linder. Notable works of Linder include 'Seven Years Bad Luck', in which he served as the director and author, as well as 'Au Secours!' and 'The Three Must-Get-Theres' .
