Mario Monicelli

Mario Monicelli was an Italian film director, screenwriter, and actor born in Rome on May 16, 1915. Monicelli was educated at the University of Pisa and held Italian citizenship. Some of his notable works include "Big Deal on Madonna Street", "L'armata Brancaleone", "Casanova 70", "The Organizer", and "Let's Hope It's a Girl".

Monicelli was the director of the film "Big Deal on Madonna Street", for which he also co-wrote the screenplay with other authors. Additionally, he authored "Shivers in Summer".

Mario Monicelli died in Rome on November 29, 2010.
