Louis Stokes (born February 23, 1925, died August 18, 2015) was a lawyer, politician, and judge from the United States. Stokes was born and later died in Cleveland, Ohio. He pursued his education at the Cleveland–Marshall College of Law.
In his career, Stokes held a variety of roles, including as a politician, lawyer, and judge. He is also recognized as a founding member of the Congressional Black Caucus. Stokes had a daughter named Lori Stokes.
