Louis Gallet

Louis Gallet (born February 14, 1835, in Bourg-lès-Valence, France, and died October 16, 1898, in Paris, France) was a French poet, writer, music critic, and composer. In addition to his real name, Gallet also used the pseudonym L. Marcelly.

Throughout his career, Gallet was involved in multiple occupations. He was a poet, a writer, a composer, a music critic, and a librettist.
