The main feature of Linux Kodachi is the forced tunneling of all traffic generated by the system, first through its own pre-installed VPN service, and only then through the anonymous Tor network using additional leak protection in the form of DNSCrypt. Linux Kodachi implements Multi Tor technology, which allows the user to independently select the exit node of the Tor network in the country of his choice in the world, PeerGuardian to hide the IP address in P2P networks, and the Firejail sandbox to safely run applications in an isolated environment. Also available are the functions of changing the MAC address, overwriting RAM and emergency termination of the system (up to its self-destruction).
The developers of Linux Kodachi separately emphasize that the presence of the above features gives their system a number of advantages compared to the closest TAILS distribution in spirit.
