Leonard Feather

Leonard Feather (1914-1994) was a British-born pianist, composer, music executive, record producer, and journalist who specialized in jazz. He was born in London on September 13, 1914 and later became a citizen of the United Kingdom. Feather was educated at University College London (UCL) before embarking on his extensive career in the music industry.

During his career, Leonard Feather contributed significantly to the jazz genre, working with various renowned artists and musicians. He also received several accolades for his efforts, including the Grammy Award for Best Album Notes.

Feather's life came to an end in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles on September 22, 1994, nine days after his 80th birthday.
