L. Ron Hubbard, also known as Lafayette Ronald Hubbard, was born on March 13, 1911, in Tilden, Nebraska. He was an American individual with multiple occupations including musician, armed forces officer, novelist, writer, screenwriter, and poet. Hubbard held citizenship in the United States.
Hubbard's education took place at various institutions. He studied at The George Washington University, Queen Anne High School in Seattle, and Helena High School. Beyond his given name, he also used the pseudonym Barry Randolph for some of his work.
He had two children, Quentin Hubbard and Ronald DeWolf. L. Ron Hubbard was the founder of Scientology, a religious movement that has since gained international recognition.
Hubbard passed away on January 24, 1986, in Creston, California.
