Kibo Ventures

Kibo Ventures was founded in 2012 in Madrid by Aquilino Peña and Javier Torremocha. The company's stated goal is to help their portfolio companies overcome product, tech and team scaling challenges.

Kibo Ventures invest in early stages of digital tech companies and aim to co-lead or lead pre-series A and Series A rounds. Kibo Ventures has raised a total of €116 million across 2 funds. €45 million was raised in the Amerigo Innvierte Spain Technologies fund in 2012 and a further €45 million was raised for the Kibo Ventures Fund II in 2016.

In addition to their investment skills, Kibo Ventures offer other services to companies. Kibo Ventures help establish a companies internal management reporting system, including financial, legal, tax and accounting processes. In order for a company to attract and retain talent, Kibo Ventures offers assistance when hiring for managerial, technical and board positions.
