Kenan Pala is an American/Turkish entrepreneur and volunteer. He founded the charity Kids4Community, a non-profit organization that feeds the homeless and gives lessons of awareness to teens about homelessness in the San Diego area. Pala is also a triathlete in the San Diego area. The City of San Diego declared January 23, 2018 as “Kenan Pala Day”.
Kenan Pala is the eldest son of Serhat Pala and Zeynep Ilgaz, who originally immigrated from Turkey to the United States in 1998. They both received their MBAs at San Diego State and eventually started Confirm Biosciences. Since Kenan was in kindergarten he has been volunteering with his parents at local shelters in San Diego. He stated that volunteering has "been a part of my life for as long as I can remember."
