Her full name is Katharine Ann Bosworth.
Born January 2, 1983, in Los Angeles, California, USA. The only child in the family of housewife Patricia Potter and one of the executives of the Talbots chain of stores, Hal Bosworth.
As a child, Bosworth dreamed of becoming a professional horsewoman.
At age 14 she won the champion title in equestrian sports.
She studied French at Cohasset High School, where she also played for the soccer team and for the lacrosse team.
Her acting career began in 1998 with Robert
Redford's "The Horse Charmer." The producers of the film were looking for an actress who could ride a horse, and she got the role.
In January 2008, became the new face of Calvin Klein Inc.
In 2010, she collaborated with stylist Cher Coulter to launch a line of
JewelMint jewelry line, acting as its designer.
