Judith Leyster

Judith Leyster (born July 28, 1609) was a Dutch painter from Haarlem, Netherlands. She was known for her work in various genres, including portrait, still life, portrait painting, and genre painting. Some of her notable works include "The Proposition (painting)," "Jolly Toper," "Merry Trio," "A Youth with a Jug," and "A Boy and a Girl with a Cat and an Eel". Leyster passed away on February 10, 1660, in Heemstede, Netherlands.
