John Ritter

John Ritter (born on September 17, 1948 and died on September 11, 2003) was an American film producer and actor. He was born and raised in Burbank, California, and held United States citizenship.

Ritter attended Hollywood High School and later, the University of Southern California (USC). He was a student at the USC School of Dramatic Arts as well.

John Ritter was the son of Tex Ritter, a country singer and actor, and Dorothy Fay, an actress. He was the father of two sons, Jason Ritter and Tyler Ritter, both of whom are also actors.
