John Edward Prine was born on October 10, 1946, in Maywood, Illinois. He was an American musician, singer-songwriter, composer, guitarist, and mail carrier. Prine was a citizen of the United States and held his national identity with the US. He lived in Nashville, Tennessee.
Prine founded his own record label, Oh Boy Records. He belonged to genres such as country music, contemporary folk music, comic song, and folk music. Throughout his career, John Prine worked in the music industry.
