Jim McKay

Jim McKay , born as James Kenneth McManus on September 24, 1921 in Philadelphia , was an American television presenter, journalist, sports commentator, screenwriter, and officer in the armed forces . He was a citizen of the United States and passed away on June 7, 2008, in Baltimore County, Maryland .

McKay was educated at Saint Joseph's Preparatory School, Loyola University Maryland, and Loyola Blakefield . He had a child named Sean McManus, who became a television executive . Jim McKay directed a motion picture named Our Song , and also used the pseudonym "Jim McKay" in his professional life .
