Janis Ian

Janis Ian, born Janis Eddy Fink on 7th April 1951, is a multi-talented individual originating from The Bronx. With US citizenship, Ian is mostly known for her work in the music industry.

Throughout her career, Ian has taken on various roles such as a singer, singer-songwriter, writer, composer, songwriter, guitarist, poet, journalist, and novelist. She is an alumnus of East Orange Campus High School.

Her contributions to the music world have spanned various genres such as folk music, pop music, and soft rock. In recognition of her work, Janis Ian has received awards like the Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Album.
