Jan Hammer

Jan Hammer is a Czech-born musician and investor, born on April 17, 1948, in Prague. He is a citizen of the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom.

Hammer is known for his skills as a pianist, composer, musician, songwriter, record producer, film producer, and singer. His musical genres include jazz, synth-pop, jazz fusion, pop rock, and electronic music. He has worked extensively in the music industry.

Jan Hammer was educated at the Berklee College of Music. His father, also named Jan Hammer, and mother, Vlasta Průchová, were both musicians. Hammer is a father himself.
